The Hoops U. 9-11 Children's Fund is a means for us to support children and families affected by the terrorist attacks on 9-11-2001. Hoops U. began on 9-11-1999. It is that simple tie-in to the date that caused us to want to help those who have gone through great tragedy. In conjunction with TuesdaysChildren.org, our mission is to provide the resources and support to help young people achieve their full potential in basketball, in leadership, and in life.

Why? |
As I mentioned above, Hoops U. was established on 9-11-1999. Other than the date and being affected by the attacks as Americans, we have no specific tie-in to the tragedies that occurred on 9-11-2001. We do, however, feel compelled to help those kid's and families that were affected. Leading up to the 10th anniversary of HoopsU.com in 2009, the idea to help was born.

About Tuesday's Children |

Tuesday's Children is a non-profit family service organization that has made a long-term commitment to every individual who was directly impacted by the events of September 11, 2001, providing a wide range of supports and services. Tuesday's Children's programs are created with one simple goal - to develop the resources and support necessary for our families to not only recover, but to reach their full potential. How it Works |
Tuesday's Children has the leadership and ability as a reputable charitable organization to directly support kids affected by September 11, 2001. HoopsU.com has a great community of basketball coaches, players, parents and fans that are willing to support kids and families affected on 9-11.
Every dollar we raise will help sponsor a 9-11 child (or several children) to go to a basketball camp. Depending upon money raised, we may be able to do even more. Quite simply, we want to help give a family or many families the resources so that their child can experience and achieve his or her basketball dreams.

How Can I Help? |
Beginning on September 11, 2009 and ending on December 31, 2009, HoopsU.com will donate 9.11% of every sale we make to Tuesday's Children. If you purchase anything directly from HoopsU.com, you will be supporting the 9-11 children. That means if you buy the Strength & Speed Training Program, join HoopsUInsider.com, or purchase anything from the Hoops U. Store, you will be helping.
If you would like to make a personal contribution of any dollar amount to Tuesday's Children, you can do that as well! When you donate, simply designate your gift specifically to the "HoopsU.com Fund" (this will ensure your money goes to support a basketball player(s)!)
