Here is a basketball play you can run to get your best shooter an open jump shot attempt. In this diagram, the double screen is being set on the right side but this play can be run to either side.
O1 passes to O3 on the wing. O3 may need to execute a v-cut to get open.
O4 and O5 set a double screen for O2 in the corner. O2 sets up his defender and then cuts off the double screen toward the elbow area.
O3 makes the pass to O2 for the jump shot.
