This sideline out of bounds utilizes a triple-staggered screen, a fade screen, and a skip pass to create shot and/or penetration opportunities.
The players set up as shown. When the official hands the ball to O3, O1 cuts hard to the top using the triple-staggered screen from O2, O5, and O4. After O1 has cut passed, O5 dives to the ballside short corner area. Obviously, if O5 is open here, he can take the shot.
As O5 receives the inbounds pass, O4 goes out to set a screen for O1. O1 fades to the weakside top/wing area to receive a skip pass from O5.
O1 may have the shot at the top. Otherwise, he can look to penetrate and kick out to O2 in the corner. O2 takes the shot.
