This is a simple set play you can run when you want to isolate a player on the wing and let him attack off the dribble-drive.
This play can be called and run to either side. For the purpose of our diagram, it is being run to the right side.
O1 passes to the wing, O3, and then cuts through and clears opposite. As O3 is receiving the pass, O4 will clear out to a position near the top of the key. Once O4 has cleared, O3 can attempt the drive to the basket. O3 should look for his own shot or layup, but if defended well, has options where he can kick the ball out.
This is simple for all levels and can be quite useful when you have a distinct advantage.
