This sideline out of bounds play is designed to get an easy basket when one is needed at the end of a game. In this setup, the defense will need to be giving some pressure and not ‘packing’ it in inside the three-point area.
When the official hands the basketball to O3, O4, O2, and O1 cut away from their basket into the backcourt.
O5 posts up on the ballside low block. O3 passes to O5 and then cuts right to the front of the rim. O5 passes to O3 for the layup.
NOTE: If the defense does not pressure or deny the inbounds pass, simply get the ball to your best playmaker and let him attack and get the best shot available in the amount of left.
