A new book hits the shelves today. I haven’t read it yet, but I will step out on a limb and say that it is a book you need to read! The book is titled The Sacred Acre: The Ed Thomas Story.
If you don’t know the Ed Thomas name or if you have forgotten the story, watch the video clip below. Be prepared to shed some tears.
I hope there were some tears of happiness while you watched that. Obviously it is a very sad story, however, the actions and forgiveness of the Thomas family really fills the heart.
As I said, I haven’t read the book yet, but it is still going to get my recommendation. I will update this post as soon as I read it. In the meantime, get your copy today!

The book is absolutely amazing. I laughed during parts, and cried during parts. As someone who knew Ed Thomas, I felt that the book portrayed perfectly his Christianity as well as his commitment to serving his community. Definitely a must read.
