This quick hitter includes several screening actions, culminating in a flex screen/cut for a layup. Players set up as shown, O1 has the basketball. O2 dives down toward low ballside block and then exchanges with O4. O1 passes to O2. As O2 leaves the top, O5 cuts to the elbow. Once O2 has the basketball, O5 sets a backscreen for O1. Box Set 'Two' Play

The Box Set 'Two' Play utilizes an on-ball screen, flare screen, and diagonal cut to create multiple scoring opportunities. The players start in a box set. O2 steps out to set an on-ball screen as O1 dribbles to the right wing area. O4 cuts from weakside low post to ballside corner. As O1 gets to the wing, O5 sets a screen for O2. Evansville

'Evansville' is a quick hitter that utilizes a flare screen to create an open 3-point shot attempt. If the 3-pointer is not available, there is an additional screen-the-screener action which can create multiple shot opportunities. The players set up as shown in the above diagram. Loop Play

'Loop' creates an open driving lane for an short jumper / layup or for a kick-out pass. A defense will be hard-pressed to defend this play because of the variety of screens, cuts, and ball reversals. The players set up as shown in the above diagram as O1 brings the ball across halfcourt. O1 will pass ahead to O2 on the wing (O2 may need to execute a v-cut to get open). 1-4 Wings Through Screen Option

This is a nice quick hitter from the 1-4 high set because it gives the shooter two screen options with which to choose. It's also a good way to enter into your normal motion offensive system. The players set up in a 1-4 high set as shown. O2 goes over or under O5 and cuts to the opposite wing. O5 dives to the low block. O3 clears through to the opposite corner. Knicks Box Set Play

This box set play incorporates a couple of downscreens, a staggered baseline screen, and a flare screen to make it a challenge to defend successfully. The players set up in a box set as shown in the above diagram. Knicks is initiated with the point guard, O1, dribbling to the right wing as O5 sets a downscreen for O2. Utilize several screens, cuts, and flashes to create an open shot attempt when inbounding the basketball from the sideline. Players start as shown with O4 taking the basketball out of bounds. 'Elon' is a quick hitter that can be effective against a zone such as the 2-3 as well as against man-to-man defenses. The players start out as shown, with the 2 post players forming a double stack on the low block. O1 passes to O2 on the wing while O3 cuts through to the ballside corner, using O4 and O5 as a double screen. After passing to O3, O2 clears through the lane to the weakside wing. 'Double High' box set play creates great scoring opportunities with an initial double ballscreen at the top. This ballscreen, along with a few other screens and cuts, gives the point guard options with which to attack the defense.
