Baseline Cross with Double Downscreen Play

This is great play for getting the basketball into the low post or for creating an open jump shot opportunity for a shooter. The play starts with 1 dribbling to the wing as 2 sets a cross screen for 3. After setting the cross screen, 2 uses a double screen being set by 4 and 5. 1 can pass to 3 in the low post after the initial cross screen. 1-4 Low Post Isolation Play

This quick hitter is designed to get a one-on-one isolation in the low post. The play begins with the players in a 1-4 high set. #1 dribbles to the wing; this clears out #3, who loops back to the top of the key. #4 slides down to the low block before #3 cuts through. As soon as #3 gets past the foul line, #4 reverses and sets a backscreen for #3. #1 will look to pass to #3 cutting to the basket or on the low block.
